About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Define and execute a multi-year roadmap for the Salesforce platform aligned with department and enterprise goals
- Prioritize technical debt, refactoring, and architectural upgrades alongside business-facing features
- Evaluate complex technical architectures and balance immediate business value with long-term platform health
- Track and report platform KPIs, including deployment frequency, system uptime, and total cost of ownership
- Own developer experience tools and processes, including tools such as GitHub Copilot
- Partner with Engineering Leads to optimize the CI/CD and release management pipeline, including Copado
- Establish and enforce platform guardrails, coding standards, approved architectural patterns, data subject request compliance, production monitoring, and security protocols
- Liaise with business product managers, enterprise architects, legal, data engineers, and cross-functional teams
- Lead agile ceremonies and translate ambiguous technical needs into user stories and acceptance criteria
- Mentor junior product managers, technical program managers, and peers on Salesforce best practices and product management methodologies
- Evaluate third-party integrations and managed packages for security and performance
- Monitor Salesforce releases and identify features and channels such as Data Cloud, AI/Einstein, Flow enhancements, IVI, and WhatsApp to solve business problems
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience
- 7+ years of Product Management experience, including at least 2+ years focused on the Salesforce/CRM ecosystem
- Deep understanding of CRM/Salesforce architecture, including multi-tenancy, Mulesoft APIs/integrations, RESTful API, cloud computing, and batch data ingestion
- 2+ years of experience managing a platform as a product, focusing on scalability and customer satisfaction
- 2+ years working in Agile/Scrum methodologies with tools such as JIRA
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to explain technical decisions to technical and non-technical audiences
- Ability to navigate complex stakeholder landscapes and build consensus around platform priorities
- Visa sponsorship is not available
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field is preferred
- Salesforce Administrator or System/Application Architect certifications are a plus
- DevOps knowledge or experience with Salesforce DX and automated testing frameworks such as Copado or Jenkins is a plus
- Data and analytics experience with Salesforce Data Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Sales Cloud, Mulesoft integrations, MCI/MCE or similar is a plus
