About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Establish, communicate, and maintain a multi-year “Now, Near, Far” strategic product roadmap for North America Inbound Logistics technology
  • Define target-state architectures to rationalize, modernize, and decommission fragmented legacy logistics applications
  • Evaluate, pilot, and scale Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs) and Agentic AI capabilities
  • Establish business KPIs and OKRs for logistics performance and ROI
  • Oversee logistics applications including YMS, ILSL, Premium Portal, DETC, and TMS
  • Define scope, data flows, and technical integration requirements across plant, vendor, and enterprise platforms
  • Align with Enterprise Architecture on secure, scalable data exchanges using APIs, event streams, and EDI
  • Lead cross-functional software delivery teams through the product development lifecycle using Agile/Scrum
  • Own and prioritize the product backlog; author epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria; lead sprint ceremonies
  • Manage rollout plans, system integration testing, cutover execution, pilot deployments, and hypercare support
  • Provide technical leadership during weekend go-lives or plant shutdown windows
  • Collaborate with software vendors, system integrators, and equipment partners
  • Establish and enforce SLAs, performance metrics, contract deliverables, and release cycles
  • Evaluate vendor releases and plan platform upgrades and enhancements
  • Complete SIT, Dynatrace alerting capabilities, and ServiceNow MTTA/MTTR requirements
  • Conduct plant-floor gemba walks to understand material flows, JIT/JIS constraints, and dock bottlenecks
  • Partner with MP&L, plant operations, industrial engineering, carriers, and compliance teams
  • Develop SOPs, training materials, and feedback loops for change management and user adoption

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in software management, supply chain, materials management, or logistics within automotive or manufacturing environments
  • Demonstrated leadership managing vendor support teams in a plant or distribution environment
  • Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Just-in-Time (JIT) principles, and inventory control systems (CMMS/MMP)
  • 5+ years experience managing vendors, SLAs, enhancements/upgrades
  • Excellent problem-solving, negotiation, and communication skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Flexibility to support weekend activities when needed
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Visa sponsorship is not available for this position
