About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage the quality of the F-150 Raptor and Raptor R to meet customer requirements with Dearborn Truck Plant team members, Ford Racing Engineers, and supplier partners
- Use data-driven methods to solve issues and deliver high-quality vehicles
- Lead daily claims reports for Ford Racing and the vehicle assembly plant
- Lead weekly Quality PAT forums and manage R/1000 and CPU reports
- Support daily assembly plant PIC room, Whiteboard, and FCPA reviews
- Support GQRS and warranty claims binning, including interfacing with dealership technicians
- Lead Analytical Warranty System (AWS) and Early Claims Binning (ECB) claims analysis
- Manage IRIS/SIMPSN tickets and update system status
- Support VRT/VFG meetings and quality reviews
- Troubleshoot vehicles that fail in-plant testing
- Resolve plant and supplier quality issues with STA / Assembly Plant Incoming Quality
- Liaise for the Program Management Team with Product Specialist and plant personnel
- Drive closure of Fresh Eyes campaign-prevention issues
- Drive resolution of design, supplier, and manufacturing issues; support working-level meetings and JIRA reporting
- Manage WERS concerns and alerts and support assembly trials for change verification
- Prioritize critical-path changes with Plant Quality Team and PVT
- Interface with Industrial, Process, and Manufacturing Engineering teams to resolve manufacturing versus design issues
- Review and manage daily audits after Mod Center Inspection
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience
- 3-5 years combined experience in Program Management, VO/Launch, PVT, or Quality
- Strong leadership skills with ability to drive a team to resolution with work plans and accountability
- High degree of self-motivation and willingness to commit extra effort to get the job done
- Comfortable speaking and working with Chief / Director level management
- Comfortable speaking and working with Plant Line Operators through Area Managers to understand and resolve issues
- Previous rotations in Ford assembly plants
- Experience in vehicle evaluation, program management, product launch, or quality roles
- Passion for Raptor and Ford Racing products
- Ability to work at Dearborn Truck Plant (DTP)
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
- Master's degree preferred
