About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and execute supply chain resilience strategies across Ford's end-to-end supply network
- Establish resilience frameworks, governance models, and risk management processes across the full value chain
- Identify structural vulnerabilities and develop mitigation plans to improve continuity and operational stability
- Lead high-impact resilience workstreams across Electrical, Exterior, Interior, Powertrain, and Chassis systems
- Coordinate cross-functional teams and deliver measurable improvements in supply chain resilience
- Manage timelines, milestones, risk registers, issue resolution, and executive reporting
- Align resilience objectives with manufacturing, sourcing, and product development strategies
- Assess supplier, sub-tier, logistics, and material supply risks
- Develop mitigation strategies including dual sourcing, localization, capacity expansion, inventory optimization, and contingency planning
- Monitor geopolitical, trade policy, natural disaster, labor disruption, and supplier performance risks
- Prepare executive-level presentations, dashboards, and strategic recommendations
- Provide regular updates to the Vice President of Supply Chain and Supply Chain Leadership Team
- Translate complex supply chain risks into actionable business insights and recommendations
- Lead governance forums and facilitate stakeholder decisions
- Use data analytics and risk intelligence tools to identify trends and vulnerabilities
- Develop KPIs and performance metrics for resilience effectiveness
- Drive continuous improvement in supply chain visibility, transparency, and responsiveness
- Benchmark Ford's resilience capabilities against industry best practices
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, Operations, Finance, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in Supply Chain, Purchasing, Operations, Engineering, Manufacturing, Consulting, or Program Management
- Highly proficient in AI use
- Demonstrated experience leading complex, cross-functional programs in a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate large datasets and identify strategic insights
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, including executive-level storytelling and influence
- Proven ability to drive alignment across diverse stakeholder groups
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously with competing priorities
- Experience in automotive manufacturing or complex global supply chains
- Knowledge of supplier risk management, resilience planning, and business continuity principles
- Experience working with executive leadership and governance forums
- Understanding of vehicle systems and automotive component supply networks
- Familiarity with supply chain analytics, visualization, and risk monitoring tools
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
- Visa sponsorship is not available
