Key responsibilities & impact

Design and govern Salesforce connections to Ford's wider enterprise technology estate through MuleSoft and Data Cloud
Ensure APIs and data flows are secure, scalable, and reusable
Chair the Salesforce Design Authority and review solution designs across Sales and Service
Confirm alignment to approved architectural patterns and provide formal sign-off before development
Build and maintain approved solution patterns covering data model, integration, automation, security, and UX
Gatekeep custom code by investigating configuration options and challenging underlying business processes
Maintain architectural oversight across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Data Cloud, Agentforce, and Tableau
Own the integrity of the core data model, sharing model, and security architecture
Review Salesforce releases and recommend new capabilities
Own the relationship with Salesforce's Signature Success program and shift eligible administration and maintenance work to Salesforce
Advise senior product leadership on architectural trade-offs
Coach and upskill the wider development team on Salesforce architectural best practices

Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA) (preferred)
MuleSoft Certified Platform Integration Architect and/or Platform Architect (preferred)
Tableau Certified Data Analyst / Consultant (preferred)
Salesforce Certified Platform Data Architect / Sharing and Visibility Architect (preferred)
