About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support day-to-day procurement and material management activities using SAP MM
  • Create, maintain, and validate material master, vendor master, purchasing information records, and source lists
  • Support the purchase requisition (PR) to purchase order (PO) process
  • Monitor purchase orders, goods receipts (GR), invoice verification (IV), and stock movements
  • Resolve SAP MM-related issues with business users and IT support teams
  • Support inventory management activities, including stock transfers, inventory adjustments, cycle counting, and physical inventory processes
  • Maintain data accuracy and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Generate, analyze, and distribute SAP reports related to procurement, inventory, and material management
  • Assist with SAP testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), system enhancements, and change requests
  • Prepare and maintain process documentation, work instructions, and user guides
  • Provide functional support and end-user training for SAP MM processes
  • Identify opportunities to improve procurement and inventory processes through SAP best practices
  • Participate in SAP implementation, enhancement, and continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Mechanical, Automobile, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field
  • Good understanding of Materials Management processes, including procurement, purchasing, vendor management, inventory management, material master data, goods receipt, and invoice verification
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in SAP modules
