Key responsibilities & impact

Own the design, build, and continuous improvement of the automated testing framework across Ford Energy’s SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud landscape
Design, script, and maintain automated test suites using Tricentis Tosca for core business processes, integrations, and configuration changes
Identify and close gaps in automated regression coverage as new processes, integrations, and modules are onboarded
Maintain the test automation framework to reflect SAP’s object model and public cloud release changes
Serve as quality gatekeeper for SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud releases
Define and execute test plans for quarterly upgrades, patches, and feature releases
Coordinate regression testing across impacted business processes
Provide data-backed go/no-go recommendations to leadership
Track, triage, and drive resolution of defects with functional and technical teams
Establish testing standards, metrics, and best practices
Define test case design, coverage, and documentation standards
Maintain dashboards and metrics on test coverage, pass/fail rates, and defect trends
Reduce manual testing effort and cycle time through automation and reusable test assets
Work with SAP functional and technical teams to translate change scope into test scenarios
Enable and guide business users through user acceptance testing (UAT)
Coordinate testing with system integrator or managed services partners

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field
5–8 years of experience in software testing, quality assurance, or test automation, with meaningful experience testing SAP environments
Hands-on, production experience designing and maintaining automated test scripts using Tricentis Tosca
Strong understanding of SAP business processes and ability to translate functional requirements into effective test scenarios
Understanding how to utilize SAP CALM's project tracking capabilities to manage testing phases of S/4HANA Public Cloud upgrades and feature deployments
Experience planning and executing regression testing for system upgrades, patches, or major releases
Strong defect management and root-cause analysis skills, with ability to prioritize based on business risk
Ability to clearly communicate test results, risks, and quality recommendations to technical and business stakeholders
Direct experience testing or supporting SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud (preferred)
Practical knowledge of linking Tosca and SAP Cloud ALM via APIs, including client IDs, secret tokens, and landscape endpoints (preferred)
Familiarity with additional test automation or CI/CD tooling beyond Tosca (preferred)
Experience testing integrations between SAP and third-party or custom applications (preferred)
Comfort building test processes and standards from scratch within a larger corporate parent (preferred)
Familiarity with manufacturing, energy, or other complex operational environments (preferred)
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
