About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as the primary security administrator for the Fiserv DNA core banking platform and other deposit systems
- Configure role-based permissions, system configurations, and security group organizational levels
- Oversee and audit core business tables, global system parameters, fee schedule updates, and interest rate maintenance
- Handle onboarding, offboarding, and regular provisioning of employee user access across integrated Fiserv applications
- Perform routine security access audits and verify Segregation of Duties (SoD)
- Draft documentation supporting bank policies and FDIC and Utah DFI regulatory expectations
- Partner with product owners, IT, and external vendors including Fiserv to test and implement parameter adjustments, software patches, and table configurations in non-production environments
- Act as a Tier 2/3 technical escalation point for core access, application settings, and table mapping discrepancies
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
- 5 or more years of experience in system administration, application support, or core IT operations within a financial institution
- Strong technical understanding of core banking configurations, table maintenance logic, and security permission structures
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to bridge technical needs between IT, business stakeholders, and third-party vendors
- Prior experience with the Fiserv DNA core platform, specifically in DNA security configuration, database tables, and parameter maintenance (preferred)
- Proven experience working within a de novo banking environment or modern digital banking deposit platform (preferred)
- Familiarity with federal and state banking regulations regarding information security, access controls, and data integrity (preferred)
- Visa sponsorship is not available
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
