About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable client-side and server-side code
  • Architect scalable, secure, and maintainable software solutions with technical leads
  • Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL services
  • Collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate wireframes and mockups into responsive, high-performing interfaces
  • Design and optimize SQL and/or NoSQL database schemas for performance and scalability
  • Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive peer feedback
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues
  • Mentor junior and mid-level developers
  • Contribute to technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and system design decisions
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend system and process improvements
  • Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipelines, deployment strategies, and infrastructure as code

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
  • 5+ years of professional experience in full stack software development
  • Strong proficiency in front-end technologies: JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular and/or React, and Frontend State Management
  • Strong proficiency in back-end technologies such as C++, Node.js, Java, Python, or C#/.NET
  • Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle and/or NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or DynamoDB
  • Ability to deploy and manage applications on Tomcat and IIS web/application servers
  • Solid understanding of RESTful API design and microservices architecture
  • Experience with Git and collaborative development workflows
  • Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP
  • Strong understanding of software design patterns, data structures, and algorithms
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
  • Visa sponsorship is not available
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes is a plus
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI is preferred
  • Familiarity with modern JavaScript toolchains such as NPM
  • Knowledge of automated testing frameworks such as Jest, Cypress, or Selenium
  • Exposure to Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
  • Prior experience mentoring or leading small development teams
  • Contributions to open-source projects
