About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the creation, submission and follow-up for APP&R’s monthly Business Operations Review materials
- Coordinate APP&R initiatives, key milestones, target outcomes and support for Quarterly Business Reviews
- Facilitate and track annual objectives and KPI-setting, cascading metrics across leadership and cross-functional partners
- Serve as trusted advisor to the APP&R Executive Director, identifying and analyzing critical business issues and trends
- Design and manage team governance forums, including All People Meetings, Team Cascades and Staff meetings
- Set agendas, plan logistics, facilitate decision-making, identify topics and speakers, and ensure follow-up
- Maintain collaboration with the CMO Business Office and Marketing team Chiefs of Staff
- Complete CMO assignments on time and with high quality
- Streamline the Executive Director’s daily operations and workflow, prioritize projects and manage resources
- Improve team-wide information flows and processes; manage select SharePoint sites
- Operationalize technologies and process improvements
- Manage APP&R staff functions and foster high performance, agility and continuous learning
- Oversee the APP&R Culture Committee, including team activities, onboarding and Learning & Development
- Lead innovative APP&R team initiatives requiring cross-team coordination and collaboration
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree, with superb written and verbal communications skills
- 10 years of progressive experience in business with a broad understanding of Marketing and Product Development functions in the automotive industry
- Experience managing teams
- Strong organizational skills; conscientious, detail-oriented project manager
- Exceptional ability to distill complex data into concise business documents and impactful presentations
- Proven success in a fast-moving environment; capacity to adapt to and manage multiple shifting priorities
- Ability to read room dynamics, balance diverse personalities and reach consensus
- Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States
- Visa sponsorship is not available
- Preferred: Master’s in Business Administration or marketing-related studies
- Preferred: Experience working closely with senior leadership
- Preferred: Ability to facilitate rigorous, data-driven debate among cross-functional teams
- Preferred: Strategic problem-solving ability guided by long-term objectives
