About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Monitor global consumer product and technology trends and translate them into an ecosystem roadmap
- Own the P&L for the accessory ecosystem
- Develop business cases, pricing strategies, take-rate forecasts, and contribution-margin strategies
- Synchronize fast-moving consumer product lifecycles with traditional vehicle development cycles
- Write product requirements bridging consumer product features with automotive-grade requirements
- Integrate accessories with the vehicle and Ford mobile experience
- Lead matrixed teams across Design, CMF, Engineering, Finance, Purchasing, and Sales
- Lead design and product reviews with senior leadership
- Identify, negotiate, and collaborate with consumer brands, suppliers, and contract manufacturers
- Manage licensing, brand, and intellectual property considerations
- Develop go-to-market plans for bundled and standalone accessory offerings
- Manage agency and creative partners
- Monitor customer feedback, sales, and warranty data to drive product improvement
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's Degree in engineering, computer science, product design, or business, or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience
- 5+ years of professional experience in Product Management and/or Go-to-Market Strategy
- Demonstrated verbal, written, and presentation communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with leadership and cross-functional stakeholders
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
