About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Build and maintain partnerships with UAW leadership and ESSP Representatives to improve employee wellness and engagement
  • Develop and deliver annual training programs for ESSP Representatives
  • Administer annual intervention training as contractually required
  • Support 2028 collective bargaining activities through subject matter expertise, data analysis, benchmarking, cost modeling, proposal development, and implementation planning
  • Serve as subject matter expert for assigned programs, ensuring effectiveness, compliance, and continuous improvement
  • Oversee vendor relationships, service expectations, performance metrics, and improvement opportunities
  • Investigate and resolve complex employee and stakeholder escalations
  • Coordinate cross-functional resources including Labor Affairs, Security, Medical, Legal, Health Care Operations, Purchasing, Communications, Finance, and UAW leadership
  • Ensure compliance with ERISA, plan governance requirements, and federal and state regulations
  • Develop and draft collective bargaining agreement language
  • Support annual enrollment communications regarding benefits and program changes
  • Analyze employee feedback, utilization data, workforce demographics, benchmarks, market trends, and costs to optimize health and wellness programs
  • Apply Lean Principles and continuous improvement methodologies
  • Prepare executive-level presentations, reports, and recommendations

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum 5 years of work experience with a Master's degree or 8 years of work experience with a Bachelor's degree
  • Degree preferably in Labor Relations, Total Rewards, Human Resources, Organizational Development, or a related field
  • Occasional lifting of no more than 10 pounds
  • Ability to work primarily in a seated position with repetitive hand-finger actions
  • Ability to work in low to moderate noise levels
  • Minimal domestic travel, typically up to once per quarter
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Visa sponsorship is not available
