About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide software development process and project management for the Real Time Domain team within the In-Vehicle-Infotainment team, focusing on platform development
Cover UWB, Bluetooth, NFC, BLE, Power Modding, FuSa items, Ethernet Switch and Cyber Security topics
Identify development risks, assess program impact and work with Engineering managers to mitigate risks
Coordinate cross-functional and cross-team communication to deliver committed project outcomes
Work with software engineers, system engineers, testing engineers and product managers throughout the project lifecycle
Manage project schedules and identify blockers, potential issues and incongruencies
Communicate issues clearly to stakeholders
Lead external vendors on timelines and deliverables
Coordinate milestones between internal and external releases
Drive several technical projects across vehicle software domains and help set engineering priorities

Requirements

What you’ll need

B.S. in Electrical, Computer Engineering or Computer Science
15+ years of experience in project, program or product management in software
10+ years of experience in software development or testing
Experience using JIRA, Jama and Confluence
Experience negotiating with hardware and software vendors
Experience in the automotive domain
Experience in embedded software
Experience in consumer electronics
Experience in automotive infotainment
Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States
Verification of employment eligibility required at hire
