About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Drive engineering teams toward containment and resolution of issues from design reviews, virtual builds and build events
  • Protect the program schedule through start of production (SOP) and ongoing production
  • Maintain supplier relationships in collaboration with the Supply Chain team to ensure timely build-event deliveries
  • Monitor work outputs and deliverables for system and vehicle incompatibilities and integration opportunities
  • Ensure problems are transparent and risks are identified
  • Proactively ensure risk-mitigation actions continue within relevant engineering teams
  • Set agendas for key decisions to eliminate bottlenecks and retire risks
  • Support cross-functional decisions across engineering, finance and strategy
  • Travel up to 15% of the time
  • Scope work, plan requirements, identify risks, estimate budgets and communicate progress
  • Deliver integrated electric-vehicle interior systems targeting cost, weight, efficiency and operational tolerances

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of technical program management in an engineering setting involving hardware development
  • Detailed knowledge of product development processes from design, development, validation and integration
  • Knowledge of materials, processes and technologies used to deliver interior engineering content
  • Proven experience driving progress on multiple projects across multiple locations and timelines
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, Confluence and Jira applications
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Eagerness to work cross-functionally in a dynamic environment
  • System approach with desire and curiosity to strive for exceptional delivery execution and continuous improvement
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
