About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Design and implement scalable REST APIs for real-time vehicle data ingestion
  • Create and maintain cloud-native microservices in Java/SpringBoot

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or a related occupation
  • 5 years of experience using REST API to ensure data and services are available internally and externally via the internet
  • 5 years of experience debugging software using an interactive debugger, including VSCode or IntelliJ, to triage and reproduce client and server issues
  • 3 years of experience using Java, .NET, Python, or Kotlin programming languages to implement scalable stateful web services and client-side business logic
  • 3 years of experience translating design requirements into functional specifications using requirements management platforms like Jira or a similar tool, and creating supporting documentation and diagrams using software such as Miro
  • 3 years of experience designing distributed systems in a cloud environment including Infrastructure as Code, Terraform, and Docker containerization
  • 2 years of experience working with both SQL and NoSQL databases
  • 1 year of experience using Continuous Integration and Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
