About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Partner with key stakeholders to define, scope, prioritize, and deliver major strategic initiatives spanning multiple teams and organizations across Ford
- Understand stakeholder needs and use influence to achieve alignment on prioritized initiatives
- Define and track success criteria and performance metrics, including OKRs and KPIs
- Implement and execute roadmaps, schedules, project plans, and resourcing plans
- Lead team members on modern software development practices, including CI/CD and principled technical-plan execution
- Manage milestone progress, dependency tracking, issue triage, backlog management, and daily scrum using tools such as Jira
- Identify, manage, and mitigate risks across multiple engineering teams
- Own relationships with other Ford divisions, ensuring dependencies are met and deliverable quality is high
- Represent the customer and guide data-driven decision-making
- Ensure inclusive stakeholder input and exhaustive requirements and scope definition
- Set priorities based on aligned principles and establish direction quickly and decisively
- Lead by example with accountability
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or similar related technical field
- 10+ years working experience in product, technical program management, or feature development on hardware, software, and/or services
- Familiarity with modern software tracking tools, such as JIRA
- Familiarity with modern software development practices and tools, including continuous integration/continuous deployment
- Demonstrated success leading complex, large-scale, cross-functional software programs
- Experience influencing and driving alignment across engineering, product, and business stakeholders from concept through launch and post-launch iteration
- Visa sponsorship is not available
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
- Preferred: experience coaching other TPMs, improving processes, and creating reusable frameworks
- Preferred: expertise in Agile methodology
- Preferred: experience defining success metrics, analyzing program data, and using dashboards or experimentation results
- Preferred: experience working with customers and connecting technical delivery to customer outcomes
- Preferred: experience communicating program health, trade-offs, and strategic recommendations to senior and executive leadership
