About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Perform electrical systems integration and validation
  • Approve device transmittals and the system aspect of the DT
  • Develop vehicle-level logical schematics
  • Set up DT Structure in VSEM-GDT
  • Ensure generic fusing and grounding strategies are followed
  • Execute compatibility reviews
  • Assess Systems FMEA
  • Assess and comply with related system requirements (FEDE)
  • Coordinate TDR preparation and follow-up with technical specialists at gateways; track tasks via JIRA
  • Support HIL/FDJ, DCV, VEV DV, plant build kit, vehicle, and pre-production builds
  • Determine feature configurations and verify BOM parts are present
  • Configure modules using FCT/Ford Converter Tool or EOL simulation
  • Update module software using IVS, JFrog, SWCM, or approved tools
  • Perform functional, self-test, KOL, EOL-VSCS, DSC/APTL, and FEDE testing
  • Collect bus queries including part numbers, configurations, and DTCs
  • Provide module configurations and troubleshoot functional issues
  • Support module software readiness documentation and track software revisions with SWBOM
  • Troubleshoot EOL issues and support replacement of virginized modules
  • Support plant EOL troubleshooting, DTC masking, CBT, functional issue triage, and extraordinary actions
  • Perform control-plan functional testing and KOL auditing per system TDR/PVP
  • Support PMT/TPP on-site modifications involving software and configuration with Movimento
  • Review DTC tracker data, identify false codes, triage issues, and support fleet software updates and flash parties

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Prefer minimum 3 years' experience in systems integration and validation
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent
  • Authorized to work in the United States of America
  • Visa sponsorship is not available for this position
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States; employment eligibility verification required at hire
