About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop vehicle-level logical schematics
- Set up DT structure in VSEM-GDT and approve the system aspect of the DT
- Ensure generic fusing and grounding strategies are followed
- Execute compatibility reviews and assess Systems FMEA
- Assess and comply with related system requirements (FEDE)
- Coordinate TDR preparation and follow-up with technical specialists at gateways; track tasks via JIRA
- Support HIL/FDJ, DCV, and VEV DV breadboards
- Determine feature configurations and verify BOM parts availability
- Configure modules using Ford Converter Tool or EOL simulation
- Update module software using IVS, SWCM, or JFrog
- Perform functional, self-test, KOL, and EOL-VSCS testing
- Provide module configurations and troubleshoot functional issues
- Support plant build kits, vehicle builds, and pre-production builds
- Manage/support module software readiness documentation and track software revisions with SWBOM
- Identify system differences from DCV to TT and update test vehicles
- Support replacement of vehicle modules with virginized modules
- Perform plant EOL troubleshooting, DTC masking, CBT, functional issue triage, and extraordinary actions
- Conduct functional tests per control plans and KOL audits per system TDR/PVP
- Support PMT/TPP on-site software and configuration modifications with Movimento
- Review false diagnostic codes and support issue triage and fleet software updates
Requirements
What you’ll need- Prefer minimum 3 years of experience in systems integration and validation
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent
- Authorized to work in the United States of America
- Visa sponsorship is not available for this position
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
- Verification of employment eligibility required at hire
