  • Lead, coach, and inspire a high-performing team and network of project contributors, vendors, agencies, and cross-functional partners
  • Develop and lead early-engagement strategies to increase awareness of automotive careers and expand the technician pipeline
  • Identify new talent populations, partnerships, technologies, and engagement models
  • Design and develop programs, experiences, partnerships, campaigns, and talent pathways
  • Lead initiatives from ideation through research, business-case development, pilot execution, evaluation, refinement, and launch
  • Design and lead pilots testing talent sources, engagement experiences, technologies, partnerships, communication methods, and pipeline strategies
  • Create implementation roadmaps, operating models, playbooks, resource plans, and transition strategies
  • Lead complex strategic initiatives and executive-sponsored special projects
  • Develop executive-level presentations, strategy decks, business cases, briefing materials, talking points, and recommendations
  • Lead multiple concurrent projects and establish project-management practices, including work plans, milestone tracking, risk management, and status reporting
  • Establish KPIs and evaluation frameworks for awareness, engagement, applications, enrollment, placement, retention, dealer participation, program quality, and ROI
  • Aggregate, analyze, and synthesize labor-market, demographic, dealer, participant, program, and external research data
  • Build scalable processes, governance structures, decision frameworks, playbooks, and documentation
  • Potentially oversee Forward Tech media, marketing, and promotional strategy
  • Build partnerships across education, workforce development, government, industry, technology, community organizations, nonprofits, and foundations
  • Manage vendors, agencies, consultants, technology providers, contracts, purchase orders, budgets, and financial processes
  • Develop long-term strategies, financial models, funding recommendations, resource plans, and business cases
  • Monitor program and project budgets and make investment recommendations

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 7+ years of experience in workforce strategy, program innovation, program development, project management, talent-pipeline development, education, marketing, operations, or a related field
  • 2+ years of experience designing and launching new programs or initiatives from concept through implementation and scale
  • 2+ years of experience thinking creatively, challenging conventional approaches, and translating ambitious ideas into executable strategies
  • 2+ years of experience supporting senior or executive leadership through strategic analysis, recommendations, presentations, and special assignments
  • Willingness and ability to travel as needed, approximately 30%
  • Experience developing talent pipelines, early-engagement initiatives, education partnerships, workforce-development programs, or career-awareness strategies strongly preferred
  • Proven ability to manage complex, high-visibility projects involving multiple workstreams, stakeholders, and competing priorities
  • Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to gather, interpret, and synthesize data into actionable business insights and recommendations
  • Experience managing external vendors, agencies, consultants, educational institutions, community organizations, or strategic partners
  • Familiarity with dealership Parts and Service operations is preferred
  • Automotive service, technical training, workforce-development, education, or early-career program experience desired
  • Experience with communications, media, marketing, brand strategy, or audience engagement preferred
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to influence and engage across multiple levels of the organization
  • Strong time-management, prioritization, and organizational skills
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Visa sponsorship is not available
