About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead process improvement, project management, change management, and technology development initiatives from concept through implementation
- Work cross-functionally with North American Vehicle Logistics Operations teams to map logistics processes, identify non-value-added steps, and design solutions that eliminate waste
- Define, track, and report logistics performance metrics, including dwell time, ETA accuracy, mis-ship rates, carrier performance, and cost savings
- Conduct root-cause analysis on ETA calculation failures and transit-time variance
- Partner with data scientists and IT teams to improve ETA accuracy across the vehicle delivery network
- Define data-quality metrics and monitor milestone transmission rates, GPS pings, and latency
- Apply Six Sigma, Kaizen, and 5-Why analysis to address failures and define improvement action plans
- Translate business challenges into scalable technology-enabled solutions
- Develop workflow automations, dashboards, and productivity tools
- Evaluate emerging technologies and AI capabilities to create business value
- Lead change management, address user feedback, deliver training, and drive system and process adoption among operational teams, carriers, and third-party partners
- Develop project plans, milestone tracking, risk mitigation strategies, and executive communications
- Coordinate business, IT, vendor, and operational stakeholders
- Track benefits realization and project outcomes
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Analytics, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent
- 3+ years of experience in Supply Chain, Logistics Operations, Data Analytics, or Process Improvement roles
- Strong quantitative skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and formulas
- Experience or familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI and Tableau or querying environments is highly preferred
- Knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI
- Knowledge of Microsoft Copilot and Copilot Studio
- Solid understanding of Lean, Continuous Improvement, or Six Sigma frameworks, including waste identification, root-cause analysis, and creating standard work
- Ability to organize tasks, manage timelines, and coordinate cross-functional milestones systematically
- Experience working with Finished Vehicle Logistics or automotive outbound transportation is desirable
- Experience managing or auditing third-party visibility/tracking platforms, such as Freight Verify, is desirable
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
