About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead operational execution on the front lines of the agency’s largest and most complex events
  • Monitor and analyze project profitability through the accurate entry and rigorous control of costs in the system
  • Conduct quotes, complex negotiations, and contracting with strategic suppliers
  • Manage and audit large-scale contracts, ensuring compliance and supporting cash flow control
  • Develop and strengthen strategic relationships with key suppliers
  • Prepare and validate detailed checklists and operational runbooks to ensure precise event execution
  • Anticipate potential failures and develop contingency plans to mitigate risks
  • Support the Planning team in researching, assessing feasibility, and quoting dates for venue rentals and the engagement of musical and other artistic acts
  • Provide technical support and guidance to Production Analysts I and II, serving as an escalation point for critical issues

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Events, Business Administration, Public Relations, Tourism, or a related field
  • Postgraduate qualification in Project Management or Event Production is desirable
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, with an analytical focus on Excel for cost management
  • Familiarity with integrated event management systems (ERPs)
  • Experience in event production
  • Availability to work weekends and holidays
  • Excellent financial management and budget control skills for large-scale projects
  • Strong confidence and agility in making decisions under pressure in operational and event environments
  • Strong research, negotiation, and complex problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate across different areas of the company
  • Certifications in Project Management (Agile methodologies) or Executive Production
