About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Define, craft, and elevate Formula E’s signature house editing style alongside the Brand & Creative Director
- Set benchmarks for pace, tone, audio design, and visual impact across video output
- Ensure video and motion content aligns with Formula E’s creative vision, narrative arcs, and cultural positioning
- Film behind-the-scenes footage, trackside action, and race-day moments at events
- Edit, finish, and polish long-form and short-form video assets
- Create brand films, paid and organic digital campaigns, performance marketing assets, OOH screen content, and event visuals
- Execute precise cutdowns, transitions, sound design, audio mixing, and color finishing
- Maintain quality control across final deliverables
- Interpret creative briefs and raw footage to pitch innovative cutting styles, visual concepts, and narrative treatments
- Collaborate closely with the Brand & Creative Director and in-house creative studio
Requirements
What you’ll need- Standout portfolio demonstrating success in sports, lifestyle, entertainment, or youth culture spaces
- High-end craftsmanship and editorial flair
- Hands-on camera operation experience
- Technical ability and creative eye to shoot dynamic, high-quality promotional content on location in fast-paced event environments
- Deep editorial intuition and sense for pacing, rhythm, audio layering, and narrative flow
- Meticulous attention to detail in post-production
- Understanding of video within a wider 360-degree brand strategy
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments
- Proficiency in camera setup, lighting, and audio acquisition
- Expert-level command of Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, and After Effects or equivalent industry-standard software
- Expertise in sound design, audio mixing, music selection, and color grading
- Understanding of technical delivery specifications, aspect ratios, and editing techniques across diverse platforms
- High self-motivation and drive to refine work and test new visual techniques
- Passion for sport, lifestyle culture, and innovation is a major plus
