About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Identify and qualify partnership opportunities with primes, systems integrators, technology vendors, and federal partners
- Manage day-to-day relationships with established partners, track commitments, coordinate touchpoints, and escalate issues
- Support capture and teaming strategy across Cyber Supply Chain Risk Management, software bills of material, and product security
- Prepare and coordinate teaming agreements, memoranda of understanding, and channel arrangements for review and execution
- Maintain partner records, pipeline entries, and activity history in the CRM
- Produce recurring partnership performance reporting for division leadership
- Plan and execute presence at federal events, industry days, conferences, and hosted engagements
- Own event run of show, logistics, staffing plan, materials, and post-event follow-up
- Direct cross-functional contributors on event deliverables and deadlines under a written operating charter
- Serve as operational partner to the division president, managing complex calendars, travel, and scheduling
- Prepare agendas, materials, and read-aheads; capture decisions and action items and drive commitments to closure
- Draft, edit, and manage correspondence, briefings, and presentations on behalf of the division president
- Coordinate execution with program delivery, technical delivery, contracts, and marketing
- Monitor legislation, authorizations, and appropriations relevant to supply chain cybersecurity and Cyber Supply Chain Risk Management
- Translate legislative developments into written implications for the division
- Prepare briefings, position papers, talking points, and read-aheads on legislative and funding matters
- Coordinate meetings with congressional offices, federal departments, agencies, and program offices
- Support participation in trade associations, coalitions, and government forums and represent Fortress
- Handle sensitive and confidential information with sound judgment and discretion
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3 or more years of professional experience across business development, partnerships, program operations, executive support, or a federal policy environment
- Demonstrated ability to run complex logistics and multi-stakeholder events end to end, on deadline, without direct authority over contributors
- Working knowledge of U.S. national security priorities and the federal policy process, including how appropriations and authorizations move
- Exceptional written and verbal communication, including the ability to produce executive-level materials and briefings
- Demonstrated proficiency with CRM tools and disciplined pipeline and activity tracking
- Ability to manage competing priorities and confidential information with discretion
- Based in or willing to relocate to the Washington, D.C. metro area, with travel as needed
- Active Secret Clearance required
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, political science, national security, public policy, communications, or a related field required
