About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as the technical contact for assigned client stakeholders within a federal program
  • Deliver technical briefings, demonstrations and working sessions to technical and non-technical government audiences
  • Interpret federal compliance context, including RMF, NIST SP 800-37, NIST SP 800-53, EO 14028, SBOM and supply chain risk
  • Document the client environment, configuration decisions, technical dependencies and open items
  • Partner with the Integrated Customer Advocate on satisfaction signals and unmet client needs
  • Configure and tune Fortress platform capabilities to client mission requirements across C-SCRM, Vulnerability Management, Continuous Monitoring and related solution areas
  • Translate client requirements into delivery tasking for Forward Deployed Engineers and review output for technical accuracy before it reaches the client
  • Track technical risks and dependencies and escalate to the Program Manager with a recommended course of action
  • Route recurring client requirements and field insight to Product
  • Support onboarding and enablement of new client users and maintain reference materials
  • Surface technical requirements uncovered during delivery that may indicate follow-on scope
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Work within a Fortress lance under a Senior Technical Account Manager or portfolio lead, with coaching toward independent ownership of a program relationship

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 3 or more years in a technical role: solutions engineering, software engineering, cybersecurity or technical delivery
  • Active DoD security clearance at the level required by the supported program, with the ability to obtain a higher level
  • Demonstrated ability to present technical material to mixed technical and non-technical audiences
  • Working knowledge of at least one federal cybersecurity framework, such as NIST, RMF or CMMC
  • Experience in Agile delivery environments including sprint ceremonies and cross-functional coordination
  • Ability to independently use and refine AI-driven prompts to improve the quality and efficiency of regular work processes
  • Resident within commutable distance of the supported federal work site
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent professional work experience required
  • Scrum Master certification such as PSM or CSM preferred
  • Hands-on platform configuration, software development or test automation experience preferred
  • Prior support to DoD or Navy programs preferred
  • Technical documentation and enablement content development preferred
  • Active Security Clearance required with eligibility to obtain Top Secret
  • Must undergo a drug test if made a conditional offer of employment
  • Must complete E-Verify requirements for new hires
