About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design, develop, and maintain scientific tools in C++, C#, and Python
Manage an application portfolio in close collaboration with users, including gathering requirements, prioritization, and planning
Modernize or redesign existing applications using modern software development practices and technology stacks
Deploy applications through the CI/CD pipelines provided by DevOps teams
Contribute to the reliability, performance, and maintainability of delivered solutions through testing, automation, and software quality practices
Conduct code reviews and provide technical guidance to more junior developers
Progressively take on the role of technical expert / technical lead
Participate in user support and the continuous improvement of tools
Collaborate with IT architects, DevOps engineers, developers, physicists, and specialists in materials, mechanics, and pneumatic performance

Requirements

What you’ll need

Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
At least 3 years of experience in a similar software development role
Proficiency in C++, C#, and Python development
Experience with Git / GitLab, Docker, Kubernetes (K8s), and Azure
Strong knowledge of software development best practices, including quality, testing, version control, and CI/CD
English / French: B2 level
Strong focus on user experience and developer experience
Excellent interpersonal and listening skills, with a strong collaborative mindset
Strong interest in automation, software quality, and continuous improvement
Ability to take a step back, structure information, and share knowledge
