About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage large-scale public sector projects, including planning, organization, implementation, monitoring, and successful completion
  • Plan and coordinate project activities, allocate resources, develop project timelines, and ensure timely, high-quality delivery of project deliverables
  • Lead, manage, and develop large project teams, including external consultants and consortium partners
  • Manage project budgets and financial performance
  • Identify and manage project risks, changes, and compliance requirements under applicable national and EU regulatory frameworks
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with senior representatives of public sector organizations as the primary client point of contact
  • Contribute to business development, including preparing technical and financial proposals for public tenders and developing project methodologies and delivery structures
  • Ensure the quality of project deliverables and compliance with internal standards and quality requirements

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Solid academic background in Economics, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field
  • At least 10 years of professional experience, including significant experience in a managerial or leadership role
  • Proven experience in the management and delivery of large-scale public sector projects; experience in a consulting firm or client-facing environment will be considered an advantage
  • Experience in planning and scheduling activities for complex projects
  • Proven experience in leading and managing large project teams
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), including advanced formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Greek and English
  • Demonstrated leadership in mentoring and reviewing the work of team members
  • Commitment to delivering services of high quality
  • Ability to interact effectively with people at all organizational levels
  • Strong analytical thinking with effective problem solving and decision making capabilities
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship building skills with clients and internal stakeholders
