About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Design and maintain automated end-to-end tests for internal and external systems
  • Apply evaluation frameworks for AI and LLM-powered features, define quality standards for outputs, catch prompt-behavior regressions, and test generative-AI non-determinism
  • Partner with engineers to embed testing into CI/CD pipelines so quality signals surface early
  • Share testing practices with engineers and follow scalable quality standards
  • Practice shift-left testing and help engineers adopt it
  • Take ownership of testing critical workflows end-to-end
  • Help transition from manual testing to a comprehensive automation suite
  • Help ensure customer-facing reliability and security
  • Work with the QA lead, senior QA staff, engineers, and product managers to shape testing practices

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 2–4 years in QA or test engineering, with meaningful time spent in automation-first environments
  • Proficiency in test automation including APIs and SPAs
  • Familiarity with tools like Postman, Playwright, Jira, Datadog or equivalent
  • Experience testing third-party implementations and Salesforce-adjacent integrations
  • Genuine interest in AI and a desire to go deep on how to test it well and use it to test
  • Strong desire to take ownership, collaborate with teammates, and strengthen a business through quality products
  • Experience building relationships and collaborating with engineers and product managers
  • Comfort working through ambiguity as processes and standards are still being defined
  • Deep curiosity and a self-starter attitude
  • Experience with low-code/AI-assisted test automation platforms such as Mabl, Tricentis Tosca, Katalon Studio, Testsigma, or Leapwork
  • Prior startup experience
  • Exposure to testing AI or LLM outputs, including prompt evaluation, output grading, or regression testing for generative systems
  • Fintech or regulated-industry exposure
  • Ability to read application code
  • Understanding of software testing architecture
  • Experience with CI/CD, Git, and cloud infrastructure; AWS preferred
  • Legally authorized to work in the Dominican Republic
