About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Build and expand a rapidly growing Corporate & Commercial legal team in the UAE
Work with fast-scaling companies and startup/scaleup ecosystems in the UAE
Advise founders and high-growth companies across fintech, AI, digital assets, SaaS, and related sectors
Act as a trusted legal advisor from idea to exit, including MVP development, Series A funding, and later-stage growth
Build lasting relationships with world-changing companies
Help shape the future of legal services in the GCC
Participate in a multi-stage recruitment process including an introductory call, technical interview, team meeting, and offer stage

Requirements

What you’ll need

UK-qualified corporate/commercial lawyer (common law)
At least 2-3 years of experience
Trained at a large-scale US/UK law firm
Already based in the UAE (1-2 years’ local experience ideal)
Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to thrive in fast-moving environments
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Fundraising/venture experience (bonus)
Cross-border advisory experience in Europe / Middle East (bonus)
Exposure to data protection, IP, consumer law, or digital assets (bonus)
Tech-savvy and comfortable with legal tech
Strong commercial contracts background with high-growth tech clients
