About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Coordinate projects and activities aimed at optimizing and improving production processes, increasing efficiency, productivity, and workforce utilization.
Collaborate with senior team to design cost-effective manufacturing layouts and building ergonomics for new or improved production locations.
Design, redesign, or enhance work areas and layouts to reduce or eliminate non-ergonomic positions, repetitive motions, and inefficient operations.
Maintain knowledge of best practices in manufacturing methods, trends, and developments in technology and equipment, applying this knowledge to maintain the organization’s competitive edge.
Identify and assess problems and departures from established manufacturing standards and best practices; research and recommend solutions.
Develop and maintain management information, planning, and control systems.
Implement methods and modifications to reduce production costs.
Lead or participate in projects focused on process or technology improvements.
Facilitate and use project and change management methods.
Operate in accordance with health and safety and environmental policies and procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Analytical thinking – Ability to think deeply about the situation and recommend options approach, taking in consideration Pros, Cons, Opportunities and weaknesses together with financial impact of each option.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
A thorough understanding of ergonomics and applicable industry standards.
Utilize Time and Method, six sigma, ergonomics, … to identify weak spots and opportunities.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Ability to travel internationally.
II. level university degree.
Education in the field of Industrial engineering.

Slovak – Mastery (C2).
