About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own and achieve a personal revenue quota, meeting or exceeding quarterly and annual targets
  • Build and execute territory plans identifying priority districts and schools and reflecting relevant education funding policies
  • Maintain a qualified pipeline, address revenue risks, accelerate key deals, and expand existing relationships
  • Lead the full sales process with superintendents, district leaders, principals, and other school stakeholders
  • Conduct discovery and translate client needs into tailored FranklinCovey solutions
  • Develop strategic account plans with multi-year expansion strategies, stakeholder engagement plans, and success metrics
  • Navigate complex buying processes, including RFPs, board approvals, and budget cycles
  • Use Salesforce, Domo, and other required tools to manage pipeline, track opportunities, and maintain accurate forecasts
  • Participate in cross-functional territory pods to coordinate outreach and share insights
  • Partner with coaches, implementation, and retention teams to support deal transitions and identify renewal and expansion opportunities
  • Align with the Managing Director and sales leaders on territory strategy, complex deals, and broader sales learnings
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date Salesforce and other required systems
  • Apply coaching and feedback to improve sales execution
  • Diagnose performance gaps, test approaches, and adjust strategies to improve results
  • Engage in training and self-development and share effective practices with the team
  • Travel as required for client meetings, industry events, and internal meetings

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's or advanced degree
  • 5+ years of education sales, education services, or school/district leadership experience
  • Experience selling to K–12 districts strongly preferred
  • Proven track record of consistently attaining or exceeding a multi-million-dollar annual quota or equivalent performance target
  • Proven track record of driving results through disciplined territory management and consultative selling
  • Proven track record of winning and growing business in complex, ambiguous, or rapidly changing environments
  • Ability to lead strategic conversations with senior district and school leaders
  • Ability to diagnose performance challenges within a territory and implement effective solutions
  • Ability to communicate clearly and persuasively in writing, virtually, and in person
  • Experience using Salesforce, Domo, and other required tools
  • Ability to travel as required to meet with clients, attend industry events, and participate in internal meetings
