About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own the customer-facing web app, CLI, and agent experience inside Claude and Codex
- Ship features across the web app, CLI, API, and agent integrations including MCP and plugins
- Turn customer-built workflows into product features
- Talk to customers and answer tickets for owned areas
- Ship fixes directly
- Use coding agents heavily and exercise judgment on their output
- Help decide what the company builds next
- Have a direct say in product direction as one of the first engineers
Requirements
What you’ll need- Strong full-stack engineering skills with product taste
- Ability to work pragmatically and autonomously without a curated task board
- Willingness to hear from customers, including when something breaks
- Experience with TypeScript and Effect
- Experience with Postgres
- Experience with Redis
- Experience with React, Vite, and TanStack
- Experience with ElectricSQL sync
- Bonus: founded something, built developer tools or AI agents, or knows GTM tools such as Clay and CRMs
- Must be based in the San Francisco Bay Area or be open to relocating or working from the region
- Must answer whether visa sponsorship to work in the United States will be required now or in the future
