About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Draft, review, and negotiate B2B customer contracts, Terms & Conditions, and material supplier agreements, including complex IT contracts
- Act as primary legal partner to Business and Procurement teams
- Identify risks and provide pragmatic, solution-oriented recommendations
- Manage litigation, pre-litigation, and collection matters
- Coordinate with external counsel and define strategies to mitigate financial and business risks
- Advise on privacy matters and review Data Processing Agreements
- Provide legal support for digital, technology, and AI-related initiatives
- Manage corporate matters for the French entity, including shareholders’ meetings
- Coordinate international governance with external counsel
- Improve legal templates and processes
- Eventually mentor junior resources and interns
- Report directly to the CEO and support Business, Finance, Procurement, and Product teams
Requirements
What you’ll need- Master’s degree in Business Law or an equivalent legal qualification
- 7+ years of relevant in-house legal experience with international exposure
- Strong generalist background covering commercial/contract law, corporate law, litigation, and data protection
- Fluent in written and spoken English and French
- German is a strong plus
- Autonomous, accountable, and hands-on
- Strong business judgment and ability to distinguish material risks from low-priority issues
- Experience in international tech, automotive, mobility, or digital sectors is a bonus
- CIPP/E certification is highly appreciated
