About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Represent SurTec’s interests in the Czech market
- Develop the local market by introducing value-added products to new and existing customers
- Maintain relationships with existing clients
- Provide technical support to existing customers
- Conduct application engineering at clients’ plants and supervise SurTec operating systems
- Stay up to date with SurTec processes and technologies
- Translate and update technical documentation, including TDSs, PIBs, articles and presentations
- Collaborate cross-functionally with R&D, Marketing, Supply Chain, and other departments
- Manage client quotations for products and technologies
- Manage projects and support market implementation activities
- Provide independent consulting services regarding technological processes at clients’ plants
- Prepare reports and forecasts
- Perform work in compliance with health and safety regulations and applicable orders and guidelines
- Maintain office and laboratory equipment, tools, and appliances
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience in the chemical industry; experience in the surface finishing market is preferred
- 2–5 years of professional experience in a similar role preferred
- Native-level Czech and good communication skills in English, both written and verbal
- Ability to travel independently within the country on a regular basis and time flexibility during working hours of clients
- Computer literacy
- Methodical and systematic approach to problem-solving
- Excellent report-writing skills
- Competence in chemical analytical procedures
- Experience in project management
- Good knowledge of Quality Management
