About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Conduct behavior or functional analytic assessment processes
  • Develop case supervision and clinical management
  • Develop and implement ABA treatment plans
  • Consult with RBTs or BTs regarding client and family concerns
  • Select appropriate stimulus materials and treatment modalities
  • Include clients and families in treatment goals and train families on treatment strategies and carryover skills
  • Provide clear instructions during therapy
  • Record and track daily client and family progress
  • Use session time efficiently to meet objectives
  • Provide accurate and immediate feedback to clients and families
  • Plan discharge of clients
  • Lead and mentor RBTs
  • Support clients in Espanola and Santa Fe through travel at least biweekly
  • Operate within local, state, and federal regulations and Frontera policies

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst) certification for at least 3 years
  • Master's Degree in Psychology or related field, emphasis in Applied Behavior Analysis
  • Four or more years of experience working with a pediatric population
  • Four or more years of experience in an applied setting participating in functional assessments/analyses, developing and implementing functional behavior plans, and overseeing and monitoring program implementation and adjustments
  • General knowledge and experience in Applied Behavior Analysis
  • Services and/or knowledge of Autism Spectrum Disorder
  • Managerial experience
  • Proficient computer skills in Excel, database management, and record keeping
  • Effective oral and written communication
  • Excellent interpersonal and coaching skills
  • Evidence of a high level of confidentiality
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Completing stage two assessments
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel regularly within New Mexico
  • 1+ year of Telehealth supervision experience preferred
  • Must be local to and able to work on site in Albuquerque, NM, with regular travel to Espanola and Santa Fe
  • Ability to work 9am to 6pm MT
  • Memberships to specific state and national (ABAI) professional associations highly recommended
