About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage accounts receivable and relationship management for an assigned portfolio of billing attorneys and clients
- Prepare reports and analyses on results and opportunities to reduce outstanding accounts receivable
- Facilitate meetings with billing attorneys and stakeholders to identify cash-flow improvements
- Liaise between clients and attorneys to resolve outstanding balances while preserving attorney-client relationships
- Maintain accurate, detailed collection activity records in the firm's accounts receivable collection software
- Conduct daily professional business communication with a France-based client in French and English
Requirements
What you’ll need- Fluency in French and English, with professional written and verbal communication ability in both languages
- Strong critical thinking, research, problem-solving, and analytical skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook
- Effective verbal and written communication skills with proficiency in grammar and punctuation
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- A combination of 7 years of customer service, accounting, and accounts receivable experience preferred
- Previous law or accounting firm experience preferred
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and operating a computer
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
