About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Prepare reports and analyses to keep leadership informed of results and opportunities to reduce outstanding accounts receivable
- Facilitate meetings with billing attorneys and stakeholders, identifying opportunities to improve cash flow
- Act as a liaison between clients and attorneys to resolve outstanding balances while preserving attorney-client relationships
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of collection activities in the Firm's Accounts Receivable Collection Software
- Support a France-based client through daily French-language business communication
- Work Central European Business Hours, approximately 3:30 AM–11:30 AM ET in Ontario
Requirements
What you’ll need- Fluency in French and English, with professional written and verbal communication ability in both languages
- Strong critical thinking, research, problem-solving, and analytical skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook
- Effective verbal and written communication skills with proficiency in grammar and punctuation
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred
- A combination of 7 years of customer service, accounting, and accounts receivable experience is preferred
- Previous law or accounting firm experience is preferred
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and operating a computer
- Must be legally authorized to work in Canada for any employer
