About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Assist the Producer in identifying account-rounding and coverage enhancement opportunities
  • Analyze carrier quotes and coverages to determine the best options for the client
  • Review new and renewal policies for accuracy in rating and coverage
  • Provide policy service including changes, payments, claims and third-party communications
  • Assist in presenting FIA products to new and existing customers by collaborating in renewal strategies, and preparing proposals
  • Respond to requests to research coverage issues, policy problems, cancellation issues, reinstatement issues, billing problems, claims history and underwriting issues
  • Maintain current knowledge of company underwriting and rating information
  • Follow agency standard procedures to maintain electronic files and information
  • Take action using Integrity, Caring, and Excellence to achieve all-win outcomes
  • Market, service, and provide support to Producers and Account Executives
  • Maintain and expand assigned accounts and process documentation on new accounts

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Texas General Lines Agent (Property & Casualty) License, or attainment within 90 days
  • 2+ years of experience in the personal lines insurance field; or Bachelor’s Degree with 1+ years of insurance related experience; or has obtained CISR or TIIA designation in Personal Lines
  • Ability to retain a Book of Business between $150,000 and $250,000
  • Organizational skills and the ability to multitask
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft computer applications
  • Insurance professional designations including CISR, ACSR, CIC, CRM preferred
  • Knowledge of personal lines insurance industry preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
