About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design, write, test, implement, and document solutions for assigned program modules
- Collaborate with project teams and other Software Engineers to provide technical support
- Support assigned IT systems and applications by troubleshooting and resolving defects
- Design, configure, test, implement, support, and document solutions for assigned applications across the organization

Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, in a related field, or equivalent experience
- At least 2 years of experience typically required to independently identify program issues and develop appropriate solutions
- Strong software engineering experience, including design, development, testing, and maintenance of scalable applications
- Strong programming experience using Python and/or Java
- Experience with API development, microservices architecture, testing, debugging, code reviews, and coding best practices
- Strong data engineering experience, including SQL development, data pipeline design, data quality management, and data integration across multiple systems and platforms
- Strong experience with cloud technologies and application deployment, including cloud services, CI/CD pipelines, containerization, monitoring, production support, and operational excellence
- Strong understanding of commonly-used programming concepts, practices, and procedures
- Strong collaboration experience and ability to deliver high-quality, reliable, maintainable code, participate in technical reviews, uphold engineering standards, and support team growth through mentoring and constructive feedback
- Preferred experience leveraging AI-powered development tools such as GitHub Copilot, including validating AI-generated code for accuracy, security, performance, and maintainability
