About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Serve as the technical and functional reference for supporting the organization’s core systems
Ensure high availability, performance, quality, and continuous evolution of applications
Provide technical leadership for N1 and N2 support activities
Work closely with development teams (Squads)
Support incident resolution and drive continuous improvements
Promote best practices in development, observability, and technology governance
Ensure the availability, compliance, and integrity of business systems
Analyze and resolve critical incidents
Provide technical leadership to N1 and N2 support teams
Drive the reduction of technical debt and the continuous evolution of applications
Contribute to functional and technical system documentation
Act as a liaison between business, support, and development teams
Strengthen a culture of observability, quality, and proactive monitoring
Manage and track N1 and N2 ticket queues
Analyze, resolve, and prevent systemic incidents
Develop and maintain corporate applications
Continuously monitor environments and applications
Prepare and update technical and functional documentation
Administer database access and permissions
Participate in deployments and infrastructure and technology processes
Develop and execute automated tests
Conduct technical reviews of solutions and support development Squads
Mentor and train mid-level and junior analysts
Ensure the adoption of quality and security tools and practices

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Systems Analysis and Development, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
Preferred technical knowledge of Java, PHP, JavaScript, React, Node.js, relational and non-relational databases, Grafana, Datadog, Agile methodologies (Scrum and Kanban), code version control, and development best practices
ITIL certification or knowledge is a plus
Experience with Azure DevOps is a plus
Knowledge of SonarQube is a plus
Knowledge of Veracode is a plus
Experience in the education sector is a plus
Knowledge of observability and monitoring in cloud environments is a plus
