About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead the technological evolution of a business journey comprising multiple squads
Ensure alignment among business strategy, product roadmap, and technology execution
Ensure squad integration and promote a systemic view of products, processes, architecture, and customer experience
Monitor and support Tech Leads in technical and organizational decisions
Ensure engineering, architecture, quality, and governance standards
Manage risks, dependencies, impediments, capacity, productivity, and squad health
Technically and operationally coordinate partner-managed squads
Ensure alignment, delivery quality, commitments, and processes across partners
Participate in architectural decisions, identify risks and bottlenecks, and collaborate with Enterprise Architecture
Balance delivery speed with technical sustainability
Define and monitor technical debt reduction plans
Work with the Group Product Manager to define and execute the roadmap
Represent the technology vision in executive and strategic forums
Translate technical topics into business impacts, risks, and opportunities
Support prioritization based on business value, technical feasibility, and operational capacity
Monitor delivery, quality, operational stability, and squad efficiency metrics
Ensure continuous monitoring of the business journey’s results

Requirements

What you’ll need

Completed undergraduate degree (Bachelor’s or Technologist degree) in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Systems Analysis and Development, or related technology fields
Completed graduate degree, MBA, specialization, or master’s degree in a related technology field
Proven experience as a Senior Tech Lead, Technical Coordinator, or Software Architect leading digital product journeys
Track record of coordinating outsourced partner teams
Direct experience working with software vendors (outsourcing), preferably in partner-managed squads
Experience working with senior Product Managers/Product Owners, including delivery roadmaps and business-metric-based justification for refactoring
Experience with API design, microservices, CI/CD, and code quality governance
Experience with quality gates, audits of complex Pull Requests, security, and automated testing
Participation in architectures incorporating Artificial Intelligence capabilities, including LLMs, agents, data pipelines, or predictive models
Proficiency in Spec-Driven Development (SDD) and structuring spec.md specifications for humans and LLMs
Use of GitHub Copilot, Gemini, Cursor, Claude Code, or similar tools
Architecture/software engineering and AI/ML certifications are a plus
Preferred: technical metrics, FinOps, Cloud cost optimization, and DORA + SPACE metrics
Docker, Kubernetes, GCP or Microsoft Azure, Git, CI/CD, Event Hubs, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and Pub/Sub
SonarQube, Veracode, and OWASP Dependency-Check
GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, OpenAI API, Gemini, and AI-guided development/testing frameworks
Datadog, New Relic, and Grafana
