About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support client teams in executing multiple privacy and cybersecurity consulting engagements
  • Assist with configuring and implementing privacy management platforms including OneTrust, TrustArc, and Ketch
  • Support Data Inventory and Mapping, Consent Management Platforms, DSAR workflows, vendor and third-party risk management portals, and privacy notice and policy management tools
  • Assist with configuring and implementing data integrations between third-party systems and cloud platforms including Snowflake and Databricks
  • Prepare strategic memos, privacy assessments, presentations, policy and procedure documents, gap analysis reports, regulatory updates, and internal communications
  • Follow federal and state privacy law and regulatory trends, including GDPR, CCPA, and HIPAA
  • Organize administrative and client materials
  • Assist with program measurement and progress report development
  • Deliver high-quality, client-focused work and manage firm and client data responsibly

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer or Privacy Engineering, Data Science, or a related field
  • Research, writing, and editing skills
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work collaboratively and independently
  • Ability to take initiative and set priorities
  • Willingness to travel to clients and FTI offices
  • Currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
  • Strong time and priority management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking, deadline-oriented environment with regular change
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
  • Familiarity with privacy and cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, or GDPR is a plus
  • Experience with data analysis tools or programming languages such as Java, Python, or R is a plus
  • Experience with Privacy Management Platforms such as OneTrust, Ketch, Truyo, or Osano is a plus
