About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead and support privacy engagements, including program assessments, gap analyses, data inventory and mapping, data subject rights programs, third-party risk management, and privacy policy development
  • Assist with configuring and implementing privacy management platforms, including OneTrust, TrustArc, Ketch, Osano, and Truyo
  • Support Consent Management Platform, Data Subject Access Request, and vendor risk management portal solutions
  • Prepare and review strategic memos, privacy assessments, presentations, policy and procedure documents, gap analysis reports, and regulatory compliance updates
  • Monitor and interpret federal and state privacy laws and international frameworks, including GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, and emerging regulations
  • Advise clients on privacy obligations and risk posture
  • Manage workstreams and junior team members while ensuring quality, timeliness, and alignment with client objectives
  • Contribute to proposals, client presentations, business development, and thought leadership
  • Manage firm and client data responsibly with a high level of integrity

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Three or more years of experience in data privacy consulting, in-house privacy, or a related field
  • Demonstrated knowledge of GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, HIPAA, and NIST Privacy Framework
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience preparing client-facing deliverables
  • Ability to travel to FTI offices and client sites as needed
  • Currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
  • No visa sponsorship is provided
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business, Cybersecurity, or a related field preferred
  • CIPP/US, CIPP/E, or equivalent privacy certification preferred
  • Experience with privacy management platforms such as OneTrust, Ketch, TrustArc, Osano, or Truyo preferred
  • Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple client engagements simultaneously
  • Experience supporting or leading privacy program implementations, including data inventory and mapping, DSAR workflows, and consent management
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity concepts and their intersection with privacy compliance is a plus
