About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop knowledge management tools, methodologies, reports, models, work plans, checklists, and processes
- Perform high-quality client work and develop client relationships for CFO advisory assignments
- Anticipate client needs and provide proactive support
- Assist with internal practice development and marketing, including materials, surveys, events, and strategic case studies
- Help lead engagement work streams and projects with limited oversight
- Train, teach, and coach junior team members
- Help Fortune 500 clients plan, design, and execute financial technologies to streamline financial operations
Requirements
What you’ll need- Undergraduate or Masters’ degree in a Business related major or Economics
- 3+ years of experience in financial consulting or advisory, a Corporate rotational program focused on developing financial leaders, or execution/leadership roles in industry finance, accounting or FP&A
- Experience as an external or internal consultant in one or more of FP&A, Accounting & Financial Reporting, Finance Transformation, Finance Technology, and/or Cash, Cost, and Capital
- Ability to synthesize complex financial and operational concepts and translate them into actionable recommendations
- Expertise with Microsoft Excel
- Ability to develop financial models with minimal oversight
- Ability to travel to client sites and FTI offices as needed
- Business intelligence tools and/or data analytics experience preferred
- CPA, CFA, FP&A certification, or MBA preferred
