About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead complex and ad hoc financial analysis supporting enterprise-level business questions
- Identify performance drivers, evaluate trends, quantify risks and opportunities, and develop scenarios for management decision-making
- Analyze financial and operational data across monthly close, forecast, budget and other planning cycles
- Develop and enhance Power BI dashboards, financial models, data visualizations and decision-support tools
- Drive development and implementation of AI-enabled FP&A capabilities, including Microsoft Copilot, AI agents and automated analytical workflows
- Develop scalable analytical frameworks and tools connecting financial and operational data
- Lead analytical support for quarterly forecasts and annual budgeting processes
- Challenge business assumptions, assess projections, identify risks and opportunities, and develop scenario and sensitivity analyses
- Develop executive-level presentations and materials for Executive Management and Board reporting
- Partner with Segment/Regional finance leads and functions including Accounting, Treasury, Investor Relations and Tax
- Share best practices, introduce new tools and approaches, and foster continuous improvement
- Provide day-to-day coaching to FP&A team members
Requirements
What you’ll need- BS in Accounting, Economics, Finance or related field
- 8+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, Strategic Finance, Corporate Finance or related roles
- Significant experience in financial analysis, forecasting, budgeting and management decision support
- Experience combining traditional FP&A responsibilities with strategic analysis, data analytics, business intelligence, and Artificial Intelligence
- Demonstrated experience independently leading complex financial analysis and translating findings into insights for senior Finance and business leaders
- Highly proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
- Power BI proficiency preferred
- SQL experience a plus
- TM1 experience a plus
- Experience working in a professional services organization or consulting firm a plus but not required
- Ability to travel to FTI office(s) as needed
- Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis; the employer will not sponsor applicants for work visas
- Strong FP&A and financial acumen, including financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, scenario analysis and understanding of the income statement, balance sheet and cash flow statement
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Strong executive-level communication, presentation and executive presence
- Strong data visualization and analytical technology capabilities
- Interest in leveraging technology to improve Finance capabilities
- Ability to influence and collaborate across functions and organizational levels without direct reporting relationships
