About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide day-to-day caretaking, hospitality services, and maintenance for the designated FTI location
  • Manage events, menu options, catering development, strategic menu planning, and onsite hospitality
  • Execute catering services and prepare meals, snacks, and beverages
  • Enhance existing operations and guest experience
  • Oversee housekeeping relationships and cleaning and maintenance schedules
  • Plan food inventory and maintain inventories of guest, housekeeping, maintenance, grocery, bar, alcohol, and office supplies
  • Prepare invoices, reports, emails, letters, and other documents
  • Assist the Guest Services Manager with event scheduling, Touch-Stay, and email communications
  • Maintain building aesthetics and a clean, organized facility
  • Provide tours and facility/property information
  • Order gifts and gift baskets with the marketing team or local vendors
  • Work with local vendors to promote FTI in the community
  • Ensure a clean, safe, and workable kitchen area
  • Facilitate guest needs and perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1+ years of hospitality/guest service experience preferred
  • Any appropriate combination of education and experience as determined by management
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong planning, organization, time management, and problem-solving abilities
  • Flexibility to adjust focus as unexpected situations arise
  • Creativity in troubleshooting and/or guest services
  • Ability to delegate
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends
  • Ability to travel locally to and from grocery stores for event ingredients and supplies
  • Successful completion of a background and drug test
  • Ability to provide special accommodations for guests, including ADA requirements and food allergies
