About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop, implement, and coordinate project commissioning plans and documents
- Conduct on-site/jobsite coordination, execution, and auditing of commissioning activities
- Support creation of project commissioning plans, resourcing plans, schedules, and commissioning deliverables
- Work with Preconstruction Managers and Project Managers to define commissioning requirements and establish plans
- Assist with creating LOTO plans and start-up scripts
- Complete detailed procedures and checklists documenting equipment performance and system integration
- Assist the Commissioning Site Lead with structure, training, and implementation of LOTO and start-up scripts
- Conduct field surveys and collect and enter equipment data
- Provide support materials and reports to Project Managers and the commissioning team
- Document equipment functionality against project specifications and requirements
- Support field commissioning through research and issue resolution
- Guide office and field teams to ensure start-up activities comply with specifications, codes, and customer requirements
- Work with equipment providers to troubleshoot installed equipment during start-up, testing, and commissioning
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience
- 3 to 8 years of related experience or 5 to 12 years of mechanical commissioning experience
- Proficiency in the use of a PC and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to understand one-lines, schematics, and drawings
- Knowledge of mechanical terminology and components
- Ability to travel up to 50%
- Availability to work Monday through Friday between 7 am and 5 pm
- Successful completion of a background and drug test
