About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead job site supervision, coordination, and performance of all project disciplines
  • Coordinate contractors and daily activities at assigned project sites
  • Manage on-site safety, scheduling, construction quality control, cost management, labor management, and equipment procurement and delivery
  • Serve as on-site client contact and liaison to clients, inspectors, and visitors
  • Promote and enforce company and industry safety standards and procedures
  • Comply with legal regulations and obtain required inspections
  • Manage construction work and project schedules to meet milestones and completion dates
  • Administer contracts, subcontracts, purchase orders, and other agreements
  • Manage authorized project scope changes and ensure current contract documents are used
  • Maintain and update project files, timecards, field reports, schedule updates, as-built drawings, submittals, shop drawings, RFIs, layouts, and correspondence
  • Support project closeout activities, including punch lists, startup, and system commissioning
  • Monitor project expenditures, identify variances, and implement corrective actions to meet construction budgets
  • Define project purpose and scope, calculate resources, establish standards, allocate resources, schedule staff and subcontractors, evaluate milestones, resolve design problems, and implement changes
  • Support FTI business interests and pre-construction budgeting and execution strategy
  • May manage multiple projects depending on size, complexity, and phase
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High school diploma or GED, Certified Trade Apprenticeship Program or equivalent experience, and ongoing industry training
  • 4 years of experience in relative trades
  • 3–6 years in a similar position or proven successful project execution
  • Ability to travel up to 100%
  • Availability from 6 am to 6 pm, Monday through Friday; schedule may include nights, weekends, and holidays based on customer demands
  • Complete understanding of construction documents and specifications, including subcontractors’ scopes of work
  • Ability to organize and direct projects to completion
  • Employment contingent upon successfully passing a background and drug test
