About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage the development and implementation of strategic procurement strategies
  • Partner with key stakeholders across the business
  • Develop, communicate, and implement comprehensive category strategies
  • Ensure projects deliver on risk, quality, cost, and other value drivers
  • Develop and continually update market intelligence on key suppliers and market solutions
  • Act as the expert for assigned categories through understanding of industry, competition, technologies, and innovations
  • Develop, issue, and manage RFP and bid processes for goods and services
  • Develop, lead, assess, and execute purchasing strategies for commodity materials across business groups
  • Negotiate corporate programs with strategic suppliers and develop new supplier alliances
  • Participate in cost reduction activities and report price increases
  • Assess supplier and material risks and recommend mitigation plans
  • Qualify alternative supply sources
  • Support internal vendor reviews and external Quarterly Business Reviews
  • Drive communication, data collection, continuous improvement, and supplier relationships
  • Build and maintain supplier relationships through Supplier Relationship Management programs
  • Meet or exceed category profit plan goals, including cost savings, quality, and supplier rationalization
  • Analyze sourcing KPIs, spend data, and vendor performance scores
  • Resolve supplier issues and serve as primary point of contact for FTI personnel
  • Manage supplier relationships to maintain quality, timely delivery, and contract compliance
  • Facilitate supplier technical support for Faith projects
  • Identify supplier-driven innovation opportunities in Faith designs
  • Facilitate standardized specifications between suppliers and Faith design teams
  • Collaborate with internal resources to support effective sourcing activities
  • Review supplies to ensure quality
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 2 years in a strategic sourcing role
  • Proficiency in the use of a PC and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strategic sourcing experience
  • Knowledge of the electrical construction trade is beneficial, but not required
  • Ability to travel 10–30%, as required
  • Ability to work Monday–Friday between 7 AM and 5 PM
  • Successful completion of a background and drug test
