About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Manage project scope, timelines, resources, and budgets to achieve specified outcomes
Develop detailed project plans, including dependencies, responsibilities, and schedules, for finance transformation initiatives
Oversee budget management and flag potential deviations
Identify, mitigate, and appropriately escalate project risks
Coordinate finance resources, cross-functional teams, and materials across multiple sites
Execute process-mapping workshops with project teams and subject-matter experts
Document and optimize current processes, pain points, solution options, timelines, and costs
Track KPIs, escalate performance issues, identify processes needing transformation, and assess solution effectiveness
Manage stakeholders and support change management, communication, engagement, rollout, and training plans
Support development of business cases for stage-gate requests
Prepare and present project status reports and updates to stakeholders and steering groups
Maintain complete, current, and appropriately stored project documentation
Collaborate across Finance, IT, Operations, and multiple sites to deliver lasting change
Perform all other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or another related field, with a minimum of 10 years of professional experience, including 5 years in project management or operational excellence, preferably in finance-focused projects
Alternatively, a master’s degree with a minimum of 5 years of professional experience, including 3 years in project management or operational excellence, preferably in finance-focused projects
Proven experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies
Demonstrated proficiency in Lean, Six Sigma, or Agile methodologies
Demonstrated ability to manage successful project delivery
Experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry in a large, global organization desired
Experience with ERP systems and familiarity with finance and accounting software
Ability to articulate business cases and measurable improvements
Ability to manage cost, scope, resources, risk, timelines, data integrity, and task completion accurately
Ability to use logic and cost-benefit arguments and present fact-based cases
Ability to communicate, influence, negotiate, and adapt communication style to different stakeholders
Ability to map processes, identify pain points, propose solutions, streamline methods, eliminate redundancies, and coordinate activities
Ability to define and drive adherence to standards and consistent application of procedures and systems
