About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Define and execute the overall growth plan for the events and experiential business
  • Oversee the channel P&L, project profitability, budget control, and margin discipline
  • Partner with Sales and Creative teams to develop commercially viable event concepts
  • Develop repeatable event formats and proprietary IP around editorial tentpoles and brand moments
  • Direct end-to-end event production, including venue selection, technical partners, and vendor negotiations
  • Guide cross-functional teams integrating live experiential activations into broader commercial campaigns
  • Report to the SVP, Future Creative

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Background directing experiential activations, commercial events, or live production in publishing or media
  • Experience managing budget forecasts, channel P&Ls, and project profitability
  • Track record developing client proposals, pitch presentations, and commercial event formats
  • Strong network of production partners, suppliers, fabricators, and event freelancers
  • Ability to translate complex client briefs into creative, scalable, and on-brand live experiences
  • Excellent communication skills to present pitch concepts and align cross-functional stakeholders
